Bonsai Park was named after my fasination with both the Bonsai tree and the German Riding Pony. I was struck by the similarity between the two. They are both intended to be a perfect smaller replica of a larger version, both beautiful and hard to get right!
Bonsai Park is situated on 40 acres near the Anglesea Otways National Park and has commenced breeding in 2009 although plans have been underway for some time. Our aim is to breed quality ponies and galloways between 13.2hh and 15hh for Pony dressage, HRCAV and the Show Hunter ring. Our priorities are temperament, trainability, movement and beauty. We are keen supporters of the Australian Sports Pony Registry (APSR) and all our foals will be assessed with the ACE group and registered with the ASPR. |
